Aflak Holdings is led by two founders whose combined careers span over four decades across banking, wealth management, financial technology, and investment management in the UAE and internationally.
Abdelqader Al Kahloot brings over 18 years of experience in high-net-worth wealth management, banking, and senior sales leadership across the UAE and the wider Gulf region. His career has been defined by building deep, trust-based client relationships at the most senior levels of private banking.
Most recently serving as Senior Executive Director at ASAS Capital Ltd in the DIFC — a DFSA-regulated wealth management firm — Abdelqader has also held Vice President and Head of Sales roles at Mashreq Bank's Mashreq Gold division, overseeing strategy execution across the UAE and Egypt markets. Prior to that, he spent six years as a Premier Wealth Relationship Manager at HSBC Abu Dhabi, building and managing portfolios of high-net-worth clients across investments, insurance, credit, and banking services.
His approach to investment is grounded in genuine client partnership: understanding what matters most to each client, and constructing solutions that serve their long-term interests above all else. At Aflak Holdings, Abdelqader leads client relationships, business development, and the Group's overall strategic direction.
Melvine Mathews brings over 25 years of experience spanning banking, financial technology, analytics, and investment management. A Chevening Scholar with an MBA in Finance from Lancaster University and a computer science engineering background, he sits at the rare intersection of quantitative rigour and financial services leadership.
Most recently serving as Senior Executive Director at ASAS Capital Ltd (DIFC), Melvine has previously held senior roles at Mashreq Bank as VP of Proposition, Portfolio & Products, and spent over a decade at Standard Chartered Bank in Dubai in roles spanning Priority & International Banking, Retail Analytics for the MEA region, and digital payments. During his time at Standard Chartered, he achieved a 34% CAGR on qualified priority clients and drove 25% uplift in campaign ROI through machine learning-based portfolio modelling.
His technical capabilities — spanning predictive analytics, AI and machine learning, blockchain, and systematic quantitative strategies — are directly applied to Aflak's investment intelligence infrastructure. At Aflak Holdings, Melvine leads investment strategy, analytical frameworks, and technology platform development.
